The goal is to buy stocks before or during an upswing and sell or sell short
stocks before or during a downswing. I will also feature stocks at pivot points that could go either way. I know what you’re thinking—this all sounds too simplistic, the stock market doesn’t work that way. I beg to differ.

Over the past eight years, I’ve tested and tried out hundreds of different trading strategies and have come to one conclusion: the vast majority of the published systems/strategies/ theories are full of BS. In fact, all this BS inspired me to name my publishing company BullShip Press, LLC (seriously). Complexity usually doesn’t lead to profitability. What’s worked best for me over the years is simplicity—buying the stocks that are breaking out and selling short the stocks that are breaking down. It helps when there’s a promising company story behind breakouts and a weak company story behind breakdowns.
To make it even simpler, I focus solely on microcaps and smallcaps—they have the lowest stock prices, greatest volatility, least liquidity and most importantly, the fewest products/services to determine a company’s success or failure. Hence, their price swings are rather predictable and one-sided, very much like a pendulum.
This newsletter will be divided into 3 sections:
Upswing = the equivalent of a “Buy” Rating
Pivot = the equivalent of a “Neutral” Rating
Downswing = the equivalent of a “Sell/Sell Short” Rating
Unlike other newsletters with set numbers of positions/features, I will write about as many stocks as I find worthy. I do not believe in maintaining a diversified portfolio; instead, I prefer a concentrated portfolio centered on these types situations. I’m usually in and out within a few hours or days, but they all go on my watchlist—preparation is
crucial. The overall market environment is not very important. Understand this strategy is not for everyone and it is riskier than most, but with great risk comes the potential for great reward.
